Mr Ciechanowski is the president of the firm with overall management and marketing responsibilities. Since joining the firm in 1996, he has acquired broad experience in performing geotechnical engineering studies and overseeing construction activities for a wide range of projects including over 150 new public and private school facilities, as well as office, industrial and commercial buildings, residential developments and medical and assisted living facilities. His assignments have  included performing investigations for the modernization, expansion and  construction of new school buildings, athletic facilities and other improvements for the East Side Union, Cupertino Union, San Jose Unified, San Mateo Union High, Los Altos, Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High , Cambrian, Mountain View-Whisman, Sunnyvale, and Palo Alto Unified School Districts and St. Francis High School; multi-story residential/commercial developments including Farmers Market and Fruitdale Mixed-Use Developments in San Jose; the O’Connor Hospital expansion in San Jose and the Villa Siena Assisted Living Facility  in Mountain View; and the Welcome Center and Dining Facility at Presentation Center in Los Gatos.

He is a Registered Civil Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer in California.

Mr Foster  has over 25 years design and construction  experience in the geotechnical profession managing a wide range of projects  including soils and foundation investigations, seismic hazards analyses, retaining wall design, slope stability studies and  pavement design and rehabilitation for new school facilities, stadium improvements, recreational parks, quarries, office and industrial/commercial buildings, and residential developments.   His major assignments have included the Child Care Center, Physical Sciences Center, and Student Services Buildings at Foothill Community College in Los Altos Hills; the Advanced Technology Center, Kirsch Environmental, Student Services, Stelling Avenue Parking Structure and Science Buildings at De Anza Community College in Cupertino; San Benito High School Freshman Campus in Hollister; slope stability analysis for the Hanson Felton Quarry in Santa Cruz County, Lexington Quarry in Santa Clara County and Pilarcitos Quarry in San Mateo County; pavement design for the Tropicana and Mi Pueblo Shopping Centers in San Jose; retaining wall design for the widening of Stevens Canyon Road in Cupertino; geotechnical design and construction supervision for the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito; and geotechnical studies in support of the environmental impact reports for the Camino Tassajaro and Rancho Laguna properties in Contra Costa County.

He is a Registered Civil Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer in California.

J. MICHAEL CLEARY, PE, GE, CEG - Principal

Mr Cleary founded the firm in 1977 and has over 40 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering field. His extensive experience in geotechnical design and construction includes foundation engineering, engineering geology, and seismic hazards studies for new school projects, water storage and transmission facilities, quarry reclamation, office and commercial buildings, stadium improvements and residential developments. These projects have included the Santa Lucia Preserve residential development in Carmel Valley, the Loma Prieta Elementary and C.T. English Middle Schools on Summit Road in Los Gatos, new facilities construction for eight schools of the Campbell Union School District and 15 schools of the Cupertino Union School District, seismic hazard  investigation for the  Monta Vista fault on the Foothill College campus in Los Altos Hills,  the Wool Creek Middle School campus and the Andrew Hill High School Science and Medical Building in San Jose, the Advanced Technology Center and Learning Center Addition at De Anza College in Cupertino, and the Lexington and Freeman Quarry expansions  in Santa Clara County.

Performs risk assessment studies for selected projects to evaluate coastal erosion and bluff stability, landslide and fault hazards, and ground stability during earthquake shaking.

He is a Registered Geologist, Civil Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer and Certified Engineering Geologist in California.
