BACKGROUND / OVERVIEW

Established in 1977, CLEARY CONSULTANTS, INC. (CCI) has provided a broad spectrum of geotechnical and geological investigation and construction observation and testing services for a number of school, commercial, industrial, office buildings, public works, and residential projects since it was founded.

Our firm has served on the architectural and engineering design teams for more than 3000 residential, commercial and public works projects throughout the Bay Area. Among those projects is the City of San Mateo Wastewater Treatment Plant Bio-Fuel installation, the Holy Cross Church Reconstruction project in San Jose, the City of San Jose Arcadia Softball Complex project, the De Anza College Flint Parking Garage Seismic Retrofit project in Cupertino and the Santa Lucia Preserve, a 20,000 acre estate development in Carmel Valley. We have also provided our services for the design and construction of the Marine Mammal Center in Marin County.

CCI has provided geotechnical and geologic services for more than 50 school districts in the greater San Francisco Bay Area involving over 500 school projects.  We have performed geohazard investigations for many of these projects and have also conducted detailed active fault hazard investigations at several of the schools including Foothill Community College in Los Altos Hills, San Benito High School in Hollister and Loma Prieta Elementary and CT English Middle Schools in Los Gatos.
